Compliable

Making the web accessible
for everyone

Compliable is a Canadian company based in Ontario. We build an automated web accessibility scanner and help organizations find and fix the barriers on their websites.

7,485

Page scans (desktop and mobile), July 2026

1,045

Organizations covered by that census

89.4%+

Of the 884 AODA-bound organizations show at least one detectable WCAG 2.0 AA violation

In July 2026 Compliable ran what is, to our knowledge, the first census-scale measurement of Ontario public-sector websites. These figures reflect automated detection only; automated tools find part, not all, of the barriers on a page.

What we do

Our scanner is built on the open-source axe-core engine (v4.11.1). It renders each page in a real headless Chrome browser, on desktop and mobile, then scores the results and produces a report. Anyone can run a free single-page scan.

Every finding is mapped to WCAG and to the laws that apply to you: the AODA and the Accessible Canada Act in Canada, and the ADA and Section 508 in the United States. For the barriers automation cannot detect, we offer expert audits, VPAT/ACR reports and remediation guidance.

How we work

Accessibility first

People with disabilities should be able to use every public and commercial website. That is the problem we work on.

Honest about automation

Automated scanning detects only part of all barriers. We say so plainly and point you to expert review where it is needed.

Open, published methods

Our scanner is built on the open-source axe-core engine, and our scoring rubric, the Compliable Audit Standard v1.0, is published.

Canada first

Findings map to the AODA and the Accessible Canada Act, as well as to WCAG, the ADA and Section 508 for U.S. organizations.
